About Maggie Ruch, Director, AVAS:

Margaret F. Ruch is recognized as an industry leader and an expert Virtual Assistant in support of speakers, coaches, and consultants. She is the Founder and Owner Advanced Virtual Assistant Services, located in Norfolk, VA. Since its inception, Maggie has provided clients with all aspects of administrative, creative, and technical service, employing the most advanced technological applications in execution and delivery. Her works include website design and maintenance, blog installation and support, marketing campaign design, new product development, comprehensive research, social networking setup and maintenance along with eBook editing, and e-mail marketing.

Her progressive approach along with a strong technical background has enabled Ms. Ruch to secure roles with internationally renowned speakers, coaches, and consultants during her extensive career. She has been central to the growth and progression of major companies and worked with top clients including Charlyne Meinhard, Tom Davidson, (President NSA Virginia,) Dr. Pat Raymond, and Laura Cardone, NAWBO Past President and Past NSA Board Member.

To meet the technical needs of her clients, Maggie has attended numerous online and on-site training sessions, including Dreamweaver, Constant Contact, Joomla, WordPress.com/org, Photoshop, and Camtasia. She gained extensive experience using remote access programs, social networking, and company mainframes and databases. Additionally, she has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher as well as QuickBooks and others. Maggie offers clients passion, creativity, and unwavering energy along with the ability to respond to the ever-changing technological needs of small business. Throughout her career, she has been at the forefront in developing strategies to maximize corporate presence, performance, and profitability.

Maggie is the current Administrator for the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO SEVA) and has served as the chapter secretary. She is also a SWaM certified business. Maggie is a member of 85Broads, an international group of women leaders, and the National Association of Professional Women.

Maggie loves being a Virtual Assistant- a career path that allows her the freedom and flexibility of being her own boss while at the same time doing what she loves: creating virtual art. When she is not working she loves spending time with her husband and two young children.
